If you all want some cheap wall art, all you have to do is stroll down the gift bag aisle at Wal-Mart, Target, or anywhere that sells gift bags. You'll find some really cute bags that will make great art. I snapped a pic of the bags below at Target just to show you some of the cute bags that you can easily turn into art.

I guess what got me started on gift bag art was this gift bag that I got on my birthday. I absolutely fell in love with this bag! I knew right away that I would not be recycling it and giving it to somebody else, like I usually do with gift bags.

Do you remember these pictures I bought at
my first yard sale a few weeks ago? I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. :)

So I went to Lowe's and picked up some sanding pads to rough up the frames, which were wood. Then I picked up some primer and gold metallic spray paint.

I love how the metallic paint makes the wood frames look like metal.

After the frames were finished, I went back to my beautiful gift bag. Since the print was on both sides of the bag, I cut off the sides and trimmed around the design.

Then I picked up some green scrap book paper and placed the design on the paper.
